Uhh.. Actually my first day was yesterday, but I didn't have time to post this entry because assignments given--YES, ASSIGNMENTS on FIRST DAY--were already "over the bakod".
Anyway, inagahan ko talaga ang pagpasok kahapon, as in 6:45 A.M. nandun na ako and 7:30 A.M. pa ang class namin. O, 'di ba, kasi according to my previous blockmates, nung Wednesday, sa sobrang haba ng pila para doon sa thermal scanner, eh halos umabot na daw hanggang sa ministop. So it's a "U" line already.
Lucky me, I think? LOL
Well, sabi nga ng iba, most professors are absent during first days, but in our case, ang sisipag ng mga prof namin. Walang nag-absent ni isa. Well, it's a good thing anyway since we are delayed for a week because of the level 6 pandemic alert of A(H1N1) virus.
1st subject was P.E. and it was badminton. Professor ulit namin yung prof namin last year 2nd sem sa P.E. 2. O_O Well, I personally don't like her that much. Para siyang palengkera kapag tumatawa, may taray effect pang nalalaman, haha! Pero kung sabagay, friendly naman siya sa mga students niya, it's just that there's something in her that I just don't like.
2nd subject was Phil. Lit. We passed our Certificate of Registration (C.O.R.) (parang class card) to her and she returned it to us after signing it and she told us to correct her if she mispronounce our names, and as usual mispronounce nanaman ang name ko. I knew when mine was about to be returned kasi yung sa katabi ko nabalik na so ako na ang sunod. She paused for a while and I immediately sensed that she is having some difficulty pronouncing my name. Then she asked, still staring at my name written on the COR, "How do you pronounce this? G9?" This is the weirdest mispronounciation I've ever heard quite my entire life so far. Then tumayo na ako tapos sinabi ko, "it's 'Je-nin'" Then she said, "Oh, sorry."
Anyway, 3rd subject was Analytical Chemistry. Lalaki ung professor namin, halos ka-penmanship niya si Mr. duron, haha! Even though my penmanship is bad, I still hate professors/teachers with bad penmanship, hirap kumopya pag ganoon eh, 'di ba?
4th subject was Organic Chemistry Lecture. Rebonded ang hair ni ma'am, hahaha! After some orientation, discussion na, grabe. She speaks clearly enough for us to understand, as in broad siya mag-explain which is a great advantage for us. Mabait din siya, and she doesn't give surprise quizzes daw (YEY!) haha! ^^
4th sub-subject was the laboratory part of Organic Chemistry. Something really surprising thing happened on this last subject. Explain it later. Well, she is our official adviser of our class, and she was the one responsible for the selection of our Chemistry professors. Well, according to her, she gave us the best possible professor that she can ever select among all she handles. Actually, I think she made the right choices kasi feeling ko, magagaling ang mga Chemistry professors namin this semester. Sa pananalita palang, halata na, hehe.
Okay, so the the big revelation. After some orientation, guess what, nagquiz kami. Our FIRST quiz on FIRST day. It's an essay quiz about Laboratory Techniques and Princles in Chem Lab 1. Shocking talaga! I had a brief review during summer in Chemistry but I didn't quite reached that part, so stock knowledge ko lang talaga ang pag-asa ko. You know the shockier thing? The essay should contain NOT less than 100 words. LINKING VERBS, PRONOUNS, ARTICLES and PREPOSITIONS are NOT counted and it should also contain NO ERASURES. Fortunately, madami dami din akong natandaan, so I think I passed, haha! This was really our first quiz, NO JOKE daw sabi ng prof namin. Fine, edi hindi. Afterwards, we were dismissed.
End of first day. Well, I really like to thank God of course for everything that happened on this quite interesting first day, I know that He's always on our side to guide us and I'm glad to know that. @_@
Good night everyone, thanks for reading, God bless you!! ^^
My First Day (Part 1)
Reaching Intimacy-vs.-Isolation Stage
Wow. Time's really ticking faster and faster. Yesterday is just like I am entering prep school, and now I'm already 18. Wonder what changes will I undergo reaching adulthood? Let's see, hmm.. I still won't give up watching cartoons, that's for sure!! This is the only quickest way to lose stress, haha! Well, maybe learning how to drive 'cause I have already reached the legal age now, having the privilege to vote during presidential elections, but it looks like there's no one in the candidates that favored me this coming 2010 election, *sigh* travelling out of country without a guardian (OH YEAH!!! ^^) and a lot more.
ERIKSON'S THEORY
There's one more thing that I know will change in me reaching young adulthood, that is reaching the 6th stage of Erik Erikson's Developmental Stages which is called the Intimacy vs. Isolation stage. Well obviously, love develops in this stage. Hmmm...haha!! Not yet, not now, maybe crushes, YES, CRUSHES will do but not yet love, LOL. I have many crushes, you know, haha! Tsaka I don't really think any 18-year-old will understand true love. I'm not saying Erikson's theory is wrong, kasi parang nag-dedevelop palang yung feeling of love natin at the age of 18. Maybe reaching 20's will be the right time to feel true love.
MY THEORY
In short, you won't be able to fall in love with somebody if you make the right move and that is the job of the brain.
CONCLUSION
Reaching 18 years old doesn't mean that we have to have the "special someone" in our life already. There are a lot more important things in life that we must first accomplish before going in to a relationship like of course studies, right? Enjoy your life! Learn how to have fun! Wait for the RIGHT TIME to fall for the RIGHT ONE, 'di ba? Para walang regret regret. God is always there to guide you, He has plans for you! Wait for God's signal, He will give you your "right one" when the right time comes. ^^

My Top 10 Favorite Movie Soundtracks
Ok, I'm addicted to posting my many top-10's nowadays. And I am actually still planning to post also my top ten...uhm..top ten......top ten.... who cares! I will just going to! >=)

Now, as what my title states, I will be posting my top 10 favorite movie soundtrack. This is not the official one, but these are somehow the ones I like right now. =)
Ok, here we go.
1. I BELIEVE

This is not the "I Believe" of My Sassy Girl hehe. I loved that song but apparently got bored with it immediately. So anyway, this "other 'I Believe'" was featured in the dance movie Honey starred Jessica Alba. The song is by the way performed by Yolanda Adams and is only featured at the end scene of the movie where every single one Honey (Alba) taught in her temporary dance studio performed to raise money for the ownership of the studio. How this song made the movie special is that the song talked about how they (the dancers) can achieve their dreams no matter what happens, they just have to believe in their selves. The beating of the song is also great. =)
2. SAY
'Di ko na lagay picture nung movie ah, nalagay ko na kasi yung pic sa previous post eh hehe. This song was performed by John Mayer in the movie The Bucket List. Well, it's a great song because it encourages us to speak out our hearts, to say it out loud, whatever we want to say and not to ever mind what others will think of us as the lyrics is telling us to, "SAY WHAT YOU NEED TO SAY". It keeps repeating the line in the lyrics, well, maybe it really emphasizes that we should really speak out and to have no fear. I also love how it seems to be an acoustic one because of the sound of the guitar. I personally love many of John Mayer songs, but this is my favorite one among all. =)
3. LITTLE WONDERS
This song is in the movie Meet the Robinsons, and was performed by Rob Thomas. Well, this has a wee bit similar meaning with "Say". This one on the other hand is telling us that even if we have little time here in this world, we should treasure all that we have right now and not to be ashamed of what we are thinking with these small hours. Haha! And also to forget what's in the past and move on with our future with many little wonders because time is too short for us to go back and reminisce our not-so-pleasant past. =)
4. LOVE

This song was performed by Matt White in the movie "Little Manhattan". This was really cute because it revolves around a kid at a very young age (performed by Josh Hutcherson), I think about 9 or 10 y.o., falls in love with a girl that is I think a year older than him. ^^ But he does know that this such love he is feeling is not a puppy love anymore but rather already a true love even if he's just 9 or 10 y.o. Cute nuh?? :">
5. TRY/I LEARNED FROM YOU
Ito rin wala pic haha! These songs were featured in the movie Bridge to Terabithia. "Try" was performed by Hayden Kho, oops, Panettiere pala haha! Well, same as "Say" and "Little Wonders" this song then again is telling us to try obviously, to try whatever we want to do, or to dream or whatever. "If you try and you just believe, you can, you will. Reach inside don't be scared to dream, never know until, until you try." =) This second song was performed by Miley Cyrus. Okay, I know y'all hate Miley, but you have to admit it, magaganda mga songs niya, kaso nga lang siya ang kumanta, SAYANG. >:) Anyway, maganda song na ito, kasi it's like a father-son conversation or father-daughter (like Billy Ray and Miley, actually, this was originally sung by Miley and his father.) or mother-daughter or mother-son. Pero parang mas okay pakinggan kung father to daughter lang haha or maybe I just got used to hear Billy Ray and Miley sang it together. =)
6. SOMEONE'S WATCHING OVER ME
'La rin pic! ^^ This one is performed by Hilary Duff in the movie Raise Your Voice. Not only the tune is wonderful but also how Duff performed it during the show. This song was dedicated to her lost brother that made this song so special! The song also involved a violin! And I love how the sound of the violin blend in the song! Great song. =)
7. NOW YOU KNOW

Another song by Hilary Duff but originally written and performed by Kara DioGuardi. I like the version of DioGuardi more than Duff's, but both were great, I just can't seem to find the version of DioGuardi to download, hirap hanapin eh, hindi yata nirelease, hehe, pero narinig ko yung version niya dun sa movie mismo which was "A Cinderella Story". Anyway, I think this song is like telling the person who she really is and that it's not really worth waiting the person would show what he really is because waiting for that person is like waiting for the rain in this drought, useless and disappointing. (a line said by Sam in the movie.) =)
8. THE CLIMB

Another song by Miley Cyrus in her own movie "Hannah Montana the Movie". Sorry talaga for the haters. Well, I also don't really like her that much though, pero MAGAGANDA LANG TALAGA ANG MGA KANTA NIYA!! 'DI BA!!! Haha! I don't have to explain myself anything to anyone anyway, it's my blog after all! =p This one talks about life, that it is the climb. We should climb to reach whatever we want to reach for ourselves. >:)
9. LIFE IS A HIGHWAY
This song was performed by Rascal Flatts and is from the movie "Cars". Well, similar as "The Climb", it also talks about life obviously, that it is like a highway, a long way to go and to learn so ride it all night long! I haven't really watched "Cars" 'til the end, I tend to switch the TV to other channels in the middle of the movie hehe kaya siguro, hindi ko pa naririnig ito. This song was just recommended by Sydneylyn, and is fortunately great. =)
10. JAI HO
La pic. The one performed by The Pussycat Dolls. Well, I think everyone likes this one, haha! Pasensya na, nasa ten ito, hehehe! I only liked the part of Nicole singing "JEI HO" after the "You are my destiny". =)) haha!! Funny niya ah, JAI HO kaya, hindi JEI HO!! =))
Well, these are my top ten, hoped you like it. Magaganda naman 'di ba? Hehe.. The truth is I just only like the tune of some of the song, pero parang wala lang siya kung hindi ko lalagyan ng ilang description eh 'di ba kahit korny, ok na, basta meron hehe! =)
Her songs are in fact, really great. It's just her voice that makes people to dislike ther songs, I guess. =)
Thanks for reading anyway. God bless. ^^
