A Very Blessed Day from GOD

^__________^ What a day this has been!!!

The "PROJECT"

I woke up this morning 8:00 A.M. and prepare some things to bring for our Physics interactive project. I brought a piece of wood about 8 x 9 cm for the stand of our project. It was a bit heavy because it was 1 cm thick.

I arrived at school at exactly 9:10 A.M. But before I arrived, Janell texted me that she was already at the parish. (our meeting place) Surprisingly, when I arrived, no one was there. I went to the lobby of our school the so-called "Bolderston Hall" and there I found her. We went back to parish, continue our project and also waited for our two members namely Jasper and Michael to come.

Michael arrived at around 9:30 A.M. and the compressor at last has already arrived. We (me and Janell) went to Book One to buy a kind of ball that is light. We bought a styro-ball (The most memorandum of all ball) made from styro foam that cost us 30.75Php. It was expensive but we still bought it.

When we headed back to parish, Jasper has already arrived. So we had the official start of the project-making. Janell painted the cone yellow and the wood black. I put the styro-ball inside the cone (the mother of all the materials used) with the compressor attached above the cone, the wider mouth. The object of our project is to have the ball float out of the cone using a compressor.

First Try:

  • Michael on the compressor
  • Me on the cone
  • Jasper also on the compressor
  • Janell on the prayer

Result: Disaster
Reason: The ball didn't float.

*Sighs* A big sigh, buh-bye 30.75Php. Sydney arrived and she suggested that we should use a small-sized balloon because it's really light and maybe it will really float. We (Jasper and me) went to "pugo" store (that's the store name Jasper called, or maybe I just misheard it) to buy one. It only cost us 5:00Php. Jasper was hungry and he bought a rice topping and RC Cola. We went back and it was already about 10:00A.M. and we have our chorale practice at 10:30A.M. Time for our second try.

Second Try:

  • Jasper on the compressor
  • Michael watched
  • Janell on the cone
  • me - *hoping that it will succeed*

Result: "nakakadismaya"
Reason: It still didn't work.

It's already 10:30, me and Jasper had to go to chorale practice. And so we went.

CHORALE PRACTICE

We practiced a new song entitled...oops, I forgot the title. O_O I can't concentrate in practicing knowing that we haven't yet accomplished anything in 1 hour of making. I didn't learn much a while ago. Atsi Pat then suddenly told us that we should learn Lupang Hinirang for some reason that I didn't heard because I didn't have the mood to listen that time. The alto part was way to different to the sopranos. The notes were almost all straight.

It was almost 12:00P.M. when Atsi Pat dismissed us. Then we (Jasper, Sydney, me) played monkey in the middle using the styro-ball we bought a while ago. It was fun. I won't go into details anymore how it was played. Just find out yourself!

LUNCH BREAK

I went home to eat my lunch and went back to school to continue our project. I went to Mcdo to search for Erica whose being searched by Nicolle. We stayed there and found Janell eating there. Jackie *ehem* I mean Siege bought us some Hot Fudge in Mcdo (Is it really called hot fudge? Because it was not hot but rather cold). Jackie, I mean Siege brought playing cards and we played pusoy-dos at Mcdo. I lost at second round.O_O

BACK TO WORK

I went back to parish to continue our project and found out that Janell was already there waiting for us. (uh-ohhh...) Michael and Jasper weren't still there. Me and Janell decided to buy another balloon again but this time, a lighter one that was suggested by Sydney. We went to Tenoski (Dunno the correct spelling) to buy. This time we bought 5 balloons just to make sure we won't run out of it.

Third Try:

It worked a little, because the balloons floated a bit.

I then suggested that what if we use a blower instead of a compressor? Then they all said okay so I went home and get one.

Fourth Try:

With the blower as an alternative for the compressor, miraculously, IT WORKED!!! The balloons floated really high! Whew! What an HUGE accomplishment!

Our burden reduced to only 25%. The 25% remaining is for:

  • The attachment of the cone to the stand.
  • A cover to not to let the balloons get out of the cone when it floats.
  • The additional balloons.
  • The heat of the blower that may cause the balloons to explode since it's covered.

But at least, we've accomplished the objective of our project.^^

FUN TIME!!!

After accomplishing our project, me, Angellyn, Jasper and Jackie, I mean Siege played heart attack at parish. It was really a heart attacking one. LOL

Suddenly, Pastor Tanhuanco passed by and saw us playing. He told us that we can't bring playing cards at school and we shouldn't be playing it.

For my part, money was not even involved and we are just plainly playing heart attack. Playing cards are not bad if no money is involve.

Anyway, we went to TeaBlends and nilibre uli kami ni Jackie, ay! Siege pala, LOL! Then we went back to parish and we found Sydney and Jerome there. We went to the back of parish and found Kevin and Angelica doing their project. Their project was cool. It has some involvement of magnets.^^

Sydney told Jerome to get the styro-ball on their (Jasper, Jerome) locker and we played the monkey in the middle again. This time, with Angellyn, Jerome and Jackie. I'm really being cheat by these creatures especially Jasper whose the master mind of all the cheats treated to me! LOL

Two boys came running by namely Jonathan and I think it's Jade. They were so chulit but really nice.^^ They played with us with the styro-ball and as usual, they were also cheating me because of Jasper. LOL

I've really burned a lot of calories today.^^

FINALE

This was really really really a great day for me! I thank the LORD because without HIM, I wouldn't be able to have this kind of fun with my friends! PRAISE THE LORD!!!^^
