I Said NO.

For the past couple of years of no blogging, I struggled through many stuffs including my studies, my social life and even myself. Honestly speaking, 2011 has not been a good year for me but above all else, I thank God for letting me get through it all. Now comes 2012, I thank God once again for I am now on the verge of graduating.

In the midst of the struggles I've been through, I had realized now that I should have had chosen my priorities more wisely than I had did before. I am not going to commit that same mistake anymore. I will have to make sure this time to set my priorities straight and right once and for all.

I have realized that all those times that I should have rejected people with their favors but did not anyway has not helped me at all. But rejecting them was not an easy thing to do, I don't want to be rude, to disappoint them nor to have any conflicts between them. But this has to end if I really want to set my priorities right and to have enough time to fix myself. This is now the time that I should learn to say no.

NO...

• NO. I won't allow you to photocopy my notes and my handouts not unless you were absent due to an illness or whatsoever emergency that you've been through. I exerted effort to take down every single important details, and it's not for free.
• NO. I most certainly won't lend you my notes and bring it to your home to study it.
• NO. I won't wait for an hour just to do you a favor.
• NO. I won't reserve a seat for you in the class. It's your responsibility to come early in class and to reserve yourself your own seat.
• NO. I won't lend you my reviewer nor allow you to photocopy it. I have worked hard for it. It is your responsibility to make you one if you need it.
• NO. I won't edit your part of our thesis paper. That part was assigned to you, it is your resposibility to finish it. Hindi lang ikaw ang mag-aaral ng ibang subjects, ako rin.

Those sentences above had been spoken to be a yes. But unfortunately, the no counterpart for those will never be spoken forever. :)) But I will chose my words carefully from now on and give a nice "no" to them whenever necessary. =D

People please, just have a little bit sense of responsibility, okay? Then maybe you can all do your own selves your own favor, it will be more satisfying to you, trust me.
