Talk About Great Artists

I do not know what's wrong with the font style, but this is not the standard font style that I set to my blogger and I hate it. I did not even changed it and yet it has changed itself and I can't even change it back to the way it should be. Blogger y u no stick with the original font.. >.<

*sigh* anyway..

For almost a week of vacation already, I've been bored. Soooo.. I decided to update my iTunes by adding new songs so as not to rot it with unupdated playlists. To my surprise, I have discovered few great artists that were pretty new to me. I decided to blog about them because I was thinking that maybe you may love them too. :)

So here they are:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
1. つじあやの (Tsuji Ayano)
--------------------------------------------------------------------

The first time I heard of her was on the anime-movie The Cat Returns. She was the one who sang the ending song of that movie entitled "風になる" -Kaze Ni Naru (Become the Wind). I don't usually download music that I don't understand or that is not of a language that I spoke of but spare me this one, this song is just plain cute LOL. Her voice was perfect for this song with the ukelele as the main background melody. =) The video below shows Haru, the protagonist in the movie The Cat Returns and Baron, the cat sitting on Haru's arm which is the protector/lover of Haru. :) You should watch the movie too, it's really good. :)

2. 東于哲 Thomas/Jack
--------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple of days ago, I also browsed a list of new good Chinese songs preferably Taiwanese songs on the internet to balance the number of American songs and Chinese songs I have on my iTunes. These two gentlemen here are Thomas (郭曉 東 - Guo Xiao Dong) (left) and Jack (陳澤耀 -Chen Zhe Yao) (right). Somehow, I bumped into one of these guys' music videos on YouTube entitled "躲貓貓" -Duo Mao Mao (Hide and Seek) from their album which also has the same name with their band name 東于哲. It was a great light song. So out of my curiosity I did a little research on them and to my surprise, they are apparently Malaysians that speaks Mandarin Chinese and not Taiwanese. I don't know why their band name is such though. It does not have anything to do with their real names. 東 -Dong means East, 于 -Yu is somewhat a preposition, it can be to, on, for, of, etc. and 哲 -Zhe means philosophy or a wise man, maybe their band name translates to "Wise men of the East". =) Apparently, they are not that famous worldwide not like others such as Jay Chou or Jolin Tsai. I can't find any informative websites about them, only few. They don't even have a page in Wikipedia. But they really have good voice and of course good music! You can actually check them out here and here :D And by the way, Jack is really cute. :">

3. Ed Sheeran
--------------------------------------------------------------------

So while I was watching TV awhile ago, browsing all the channels to find something good to watch, I reached Channel V and there they played a song by Ed Sheeran entitled Lego House from his solo album "+". And again, it was good. I just have a habit of listening to the rest of the songs included in the same album as where the song that I have just heard is. So, yeah, the whole album was fantastic! One of the song in his album "+" which includes Give Me Love was featured on an episode of The Vampire Diaries, so double fantastic! Sheeran is an English man and is a very good friend of Rupert Grint.

I don't know about you but for me, these really are some great songs here but sadly, they don't get to be recognized by many. What do you think? :)
